Early Childhood Family Education

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a public school program designed for all Minnesota families with children from birth to kindergarten entrance. ECFE operates on the belief that the family is a child’s first and most influential learning environment, and parents/caregivers are their child’s first and most important teachers.

Together Time: Our classrooms offer a variety of engaging toys, activities, and opportunities for exploration. Play alongside your child, follow their lead, and witness their excitement as they learn through play!

Family Education Time: Parents and caregivers meet in a separate space to learn from each other, share parenting experiences, and exchange ideas. These discussions are led by licensed parent educators who provide valuable insights and support.

Child Time: While parents and caregivers participate in their group, children stay in the early childhood classroom, where they engage in play and learning with a licensed early childhood teacher.
